Business Startup Program (BSP)

The Business Startup Program (BSP) is targeted to support Egbengwu Nimo indigenes who want to pursue trading (in building materials, motor parts, provision shops, electrical materials, electronics, etc.) or provide skilled services (as electricians, masons, carpenters, plumbers, roofers, tailors, farmers, bakers, seamstresses, hairdressers, etc.) with capital to fund such businesses. The capital funding is one-time only and is non-recurring. The program is designed for Egbengwu entrepreneurs who are motivated to start a business but lack the funds to make it a reality. Interested candidates will be required to apply and participate in a rigorous selection process. The selection process is expected to be competitive and will be based on merits only. So if you're even students thinking of launching your startup, you have every chance to do it. The Business Startup Program is awarded once every year starting from 2022. Applications will open in January of each year and close by end of February of that year. Read more here
